Through the years, I have been asked why I chose to be a lawyer. My answer is always the same and is one some really do not comprehend. It is because I asked God to tell me what He wanted me to do when I was yet in high school. Well, He told me very clearly on two separate occasions that I was to be a lawyer and I have never looked back.
Through my profession, I am able to help people who have been injured or who have lost loved ones through the negligence of others or through defective products. I am able to help workers who have been harmed when made to work in chemically dangerous environments without adequate protection. I am able to help those with problems with manufactured homes or automobiles which they have bought and which are defective. I am able to assist Native Americans who have been unjustly disenrolled from their Tribe. I am able to help families settle estates and go on with their lives after losing a loved one. I am able to counsel and give guidance to some who simply need someone to listen. I am able to share my faith in Christ Jesus as Lord.
God has told me to be a lawyer and to honor Him with everything I do. That is my goal and sole ambition . . . and that is why I do that which I do.
