The areas of practice of H. Kent Aguillard focus primarily on bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  

Mr. Aguillard has extensive experience in matters arising under all chapters of the United States Bankruptcy Code. He views his practice as a sacred trust and aggressively pursues the representation of his clients to the best of his ability.

Kent Aguillard and Terrance Hoychick are life long friends who shared childhood experiences in the same home town. Both are avid sportsmen and share many things in common including church membership.  When needed to better serve a client, they can and have worked together, however, they are not law partners.  They maintain separate practices.

Mr. Aguillard is certified as a specialist in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification, the Louisiana Bar Association, is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Commercial Law League of America, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the South Louisiana Bankruptcy Association.
